I worked at Lakeside in 1996. I had a blast. I did tickets and worked in the office. I met alot of great people and went back to visit a few times after that just to see friends I had made and such. I have my high school reunion this year in Denver and plan on taking my oldest son and husband to Lakeside. I think they would very much enjoy it. One of the rides I recall most was the slides they had back in the late 70's early 80's use to go on them when we would go with summer camp.

I AM 22 YEARS OLD NOW & ALWAYS ALWAYS REMEMBER ALL OF THE GREAT MEMORIES SPENT WITH MY FAMILY. I HOPE THEY NEVER TEAR IT DOWN. THIS PLACE IS SUCH A HUGE PART OF MY CHILD HOOD & HOPEFULLY WILL BE A PART OF MY CHILDREN TOO. IF I EVER COME INTO A LOT OF MONEY I WOULD DONATE TONS OF IT TO HELP RESTORE LAKESIDE FOREVER.. WE NOW LIVE IN ARIZONA & VISIT LAKESIDE EVERY SUMMER..THANK YOU TO WHO EVER KEEPS LAKESIDE OPERATING.

Ive always loved the park. I would however like to see some sort of funhouse of modern times to replace the old funhouse.
with the same lady doing the laugh. if I ever won a the lotto I would donate some of it to fix the park up. Also on the website would it be possible to include a quality picture of the fun house lady.

Just want to say thank-you for preserving this gem! We discovered Lakeside 4 years ago and we find it in better shape every season. Love all the flowers. I find myself taking more pictures of the neon and the architecture than I do of my kids. My 9 year old is autistic and he is absolutely wild about amusement parks. He is never more happy than when he is riding the Cyclone! It is his all-time favorite. Mine too! No matter how busy we are, we always carve out time for a trip to Lakeside!
