Hey Lakeside!!! Soooo happy you are still there!! Hope I can get home to Denver someday and bring my kids to Lakeside!! I've the best memories of the Funhouse, Coasters and the Crystal Palace!! Remember the maze made out of glass and mirrors?? Also who could forget feeding those millions of fish popcorn!! Nothing but good memories of this place. Maybe they will let us post pictures of our youth at lakeside, on this page someday... That would be amazing!!

| I also had fond memories of Lakeside. We lived across the street on 44th and Sheridan and use to go quite often. We would bring our company and just go to the funhouse and spend hours there. I learned to swim in the swimming pool there. My sister and I got our picture on the front page of the paper riding the little roller coaster. We use to go to the races which was alot of fun. I can still hear the laughing lady. I wish they would of kept her and put her in the front entrance. I wish it was like it was in the 50's and 60's |

My friend just told me to log on and express the fun and historical events we have had at lakeside as a "north-sider" since my dad graduated from North High School in 1947.... Lakeside has been a monumental yearly enjoyment event for my family for decades my son when born 1996 was inducted into this summer family tradition from 1st birthday until this past summer july his 14th b-day. I salute lakeside for its family environment, enablement to bring in a picnic dinner; have a b-day atmosphere and always enjoy the train ride along the lake not to mention the tower that still lights up off I-70/ As a single Mom I appreciate the history, and the fun my other friend (Roberta_and I had ) more than I think the kids did... Thank you Lakeside.... Love you forever...... as my previous generations have for years and years

Once again I made my return to Lakeside (Colorado) what a place of fun. This year I returned with my 11 year old son and super close friend (Rebecca) and her son. I rode more rides then my son did. I was more daring this evening then our last visit. We knew it would be our final visit just prior to the season ending for 2010. You can count me in again at Lakeside. See ya all next year and the years to come. We Love LAKESIDE !!!

| Thanks for another great year! Lakeside is perfect for my 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old little girls. Every time we go they have a blast and I never feel like I spent too much money. |

Wow!! What a great night I had Labor Day with my sister whom I used to go to Lakeside with as a kid. Neither of us had been back in years and we brought her 23 year old daughter and younger boys. We simply have always Loved Lakeside and it's history. We also love having had one of the recordings of Laughing Sal as our very own grandmother in early 1960's. It was always sooo eerie as a kid but somehow Fantastic!! I just want to say that I'm so thankful that this family who keeps the park going in all it shinning historical excitement are truly making us Native Coloradans proud!! And also, keeping the pricing all throughout the park as affordable as it is in Every way allows people the ability to REALLY enjoy being there, unlike other city attractions. No One let's folks bring picnic food and drink into ANY place anymore simply due to greed. And I just really appreciate the thought that these owners have put into keeping the "Traditions" alive at Lakeside. I hope it never ends. Thank You!!    |

| Just returned from Lakeside w/my family. first time for all. LOVED IT. Such old timey charm and classic rides. We had so much fun! The prices are very very good and the park is quaint and safe. We will be back! |

We had a great time we were there for 8 hr on Sun the 11th of July Would send anybody who asked me to visit your Park, We love the very old school way of doing things. The rides were great loved the Roller coasters and enjoyed reading about your Ace award. The Drinks and popcorn are prised great we loved and will be back |

Had a great time last night ! took my grandkid
and they had a blast. Park was clean, friendly
and not over crowded. Food reasonable priced. Nothing like an old time amusement park !!!I will recommend it to all my friends and family. Good job Lakeside !! |

I LOVE Lakeside! I have been going there since the early 80's when I was a little kid. I remember the car races and the fun house. There used to be these slides in the fun house made from rolls, kind of like a conveyor and they had carpet wrapped around each roll. And they had these spinning tunnels you could walk through. I loved that place, with the crazy lady who never stopped laughing.  She was kind of creepy, I could stare at her for hours though, lol. I was so sad when they took out the fun house :( I also remember we used to feed the catfish in the lake, I think we fed them popcorn. Who knew catfish like popcorn?  I hope this place never changes! Except I agree it would be cool to have a lakeside T-shirt, and maybe some real food. I'm pretty sure they used to sell food and not just snacks. But it's cool that you can bring your own food if you like. I'm taking my kids there tomorrow night, it will be our first time this year. They love this place too, even though they have been to Elitch Gardens. There's just something nostalgic and unique about Lakeside. Like the world around has changed but once you get inside the gate it's like you're transported magically back into the past. I'm so excited! |

| I can't believe it is still open after all these years. I remember mom dropping me and a group of friends off - can't turn your kids loose today! Rode the roller coaster back to back so many times, I eventually was kicked off it because I have a fear of roller coasters!! I have recently moved back to Colorado and am planning on taking 7 of my grandkids this summer. They may not like it, but there is something to be said for all the memories. Way back then, we could take our report cards and get in free with it and got a certain number of ride tickets for each of our grades. Wonder if they still do that?? Anyway, just wanted to post that another oldie but goodie loves Lakeside Park. |

| Hey juniorolio I have never had any problems at Lakeside. The Cyclone is one of the best wooden coasters I have ever ridden! and yes I have been on a lot of roller coasters. I'm glad I won't see you at Lakeside. You should go to Elitch Gardens. One of the most shittiest parks Ive been to! They have more rides down than any other park I've been to! Good Day |
